Spring House Restaurant, Kitchen & Bar is a fully restored historic home that is over a century old, and boasts many beautiful event spaces!
We offer a variety of event and on-site catering packages that are seasonally-inspired and can be tailored to your specific needs.

MAIN DINING ROOM
seats up to 22 guests
The home’s original dining room, this gracious space is a favorite dining area during restaurant hours, and is available for private functions. It features a historically renovated original fireplace, French doors and a 12-foot coffered ceiling with original plaster moldings.
MAGNOLIA ROOM
seats up to 18 guests
Originally the Bahnson House parlor, the Magnolia Room is all about light with windows on two sides. It opens into the main hall and has views onto the front patio and garden along with original plaster wall moldings.
THE SUN PORCH
seats up to 30 guests
Lined completely by the home’s original leaded windows, the Sun Porch is a casual and comfortable dining space that may be reserved for private events. French doors step out onto the Lawn Terrace, making it the perfect space for combination indoor and outdoor events.
THE LIBRARY BAR

This dramatic space pays tribute to the home’s former use as offices for the Forsyth County Public Library. The focal point of the space is one of the home’s original fireplaces, and 12 ft. ceilings with original dentil moldings. The Library Bar allows guests to easily navigate between the bar and events on the Lawn Terrace. It is the perfect gathering place before and after a meal, meeting or event.
THE BLUE ROOM

In 2018, Spring House partners undertook a challenging, but necessary, interior expansion in order to accommodate the increased demand for our artisan cocktails, bar seating, and special events. The main goal of the project was to meld “the old & the new,” to maintain the historical integrity of the original A.H. Bahnson home, while adding much needed space. The Library Bar is now double its original size, yet it retains its coziness and chic appeal, with deep indigo walls, romantic lighting, custom shelving, and banquette seating.
The Blue Room is a newly-constructed space adjacent to both the Library Bar expansion and Sun Porch. A lovely result of adding on to the historic home is the timeless Blue Room that features seating for up to 20 guests. When combined with the Sun Porch, the “Veranda” seats up to 50 guests. New floor-to-ceiling windows offer views to the garden, and custom shelving gives diners a peek into the popular Library Bar. The Blue Room offers guests a comfortable and sophisticated option for dining, drinks, small plates and reception-style mix & mingles.
THE BOARDROOM {upstairs}

Our corporate and non-profit meeting clients frequently book this upstairs room as it is ideal for presentations. A large 16ft x 8ft board table seating 16 people centers the room. Technology features a 70-inch flat-screen television which can be used as a presentation board; and Wi-Fi connectivity Windows fitted with black-out blinds make this room suitable for corporate retreats, conferences, meetings and social functions. In-room food and beverage service is available and clients can choose break-outs and meal service in any of our alternate rooms.
THE DOGWOOD ROOM {upstairs}

This cozy former bedroom now accommodates intimate groups for special events, and can be arranged as one large table seating up to 16 guests, or with two tables of 8.
THE BAHNSON ROOM {upstairs}
seats up to 24 guests
The former master bedroom of the house, the Bahnson Room features an original fireplace with a rose marble surround, soaring ceilings and beautiful natural lighting streaming through functional windows. This ideal private dining or meeting space has flexibility for multiple set-ups, including round tables, four-tops, classroom, lecture or boardroom style seating. This room also accommodates break-outs and meal service for guests utilizing the Board Room.
THE SPRING HOUSE TERRACE

Perfect for larger corporate events, wedding receptions, and reunions. Our turn key rental coordination can include heated tents, staging, dance floors, etc.
